About Me

Rennie Hill Mann was born May 24th, 1972, in Waxahachie Texas to L.C. and Janice Sue Hill.  After a separation Rennie’s dad L.C. Hill moved to Cooper, Texas and became a dairy farmer and still lives in Charleston, Texas to this day.   Rennie’s mom Sue later remarried to Dick Mann of Dallas and soon moved to Forney, Texas just east of Dallas where Rennie graduated in 1990.  After graduation Rennie attended Navarro Junior College and Eastfield College playing baseball then attended Stephen F. Austin for two years studying wildlife biology before returning to work for the family business Mann Glass Co.

In 1994 Rennie married his longtime friend and the love of his life Candace Leigh Clark from Forney.  Together they have three kids, Gunner, Ty and Berkeley.  On May 12th, 2000, Dick Mann passed away and Rennie took over the company. In 2008 Rennie and Candy decided the small town of Forney wasn’t so small anymore and moved to Richland Springs in Central Texas.  That is where they live to this day raising Santa Gertrudis cattle.  With a population of 244 it was definitely smaller than Forney and it was exactly what they were looking for.

In 2010 Rennie ran for the school board in Richland Springs where he currently serves as President.  Rennie has also served as President for the Richland Springs Booster Club for 8 years and is currently the president of the Howlers Club which is a nonprofit association formed to help the needy in Richland Springs and the surrounding area also providing seniors with scholarships.  In 2012 Rennie and Candy moved Mann Glass to Richland Springs from Dallas where it operated until February of 2023 so Rennie could focus on the campaign.
